The NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre is hosting a Hyperacusis Showcase Event to celebrate their research and launch of “ishush”—a free online self-help tool for hyperacusis.
Ishush will help patients manage their sound sensitivity by providing reliable information, coping strategies, and questionnaires to track their symptoms and improvement over time.
The free Showcase Event is on Friday, July 17th, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm BST. You can stream it online from anywhere in the world; the in-person tickets are sold out. There will be research presentations and interactive discussions, the launch of the ishush platform, and stories from patient reps, clinicians, and researchers.
